4年に一回、スペインのテネリフェ島で開催されるオウム会議〜International Parrot Convention。
その会議に参加された友人が、貴重な講演の様子をカメラに収めて下さいました。
収めてきてくれたのは、今まさに私が調べているクロオウムの食餌についてのことでした。

Banksia
There are seventy(70)different types and range from a small shrub to 25metres tall.
The flower head’s produce large volumes of nectar and are bright yellow with some going to a deep red.
The pods on the Banksia are often called fruit and the flowers can grow up to 40 centimeters.
Banksia do grow in England tolerating frosts and salt spray.
バンクシア
小さな低木から高さ25mまでの70の異なる種類があります。
鮮やかな黄色の花の頭は蜜を大量に生産し、中には濃い赤になるものもあります。
バンクシアの鞘はしばしば果物と呼ばれ、花は40センチまで成長します。
バンクシアはイギリスで霜や塩水噴霧に耐えながら成長しています。
